  • Internship must be related to your major / career
  • Good academic standing
  • Offer Letter: must include contact information of employer, start and end dates, supervisors name, expected work hours per week, internship description/ working title, compensation, and on company letterhead
  • Grade Point Average
    • Undergraduate - 2.0
    • Graduate - 3.0

Steps to finding an Internship opportunity:

Meet with a major advisor for approval

Start your campaign: 

  1. Develop/create your resume and cover letter
  2. Maintain your online profiles (Handshake, LinkedIn, etc.)
  3. Start your application search and submission process
  4. Practice interviewing
  5. Evaluating offers
  6. New Hire Onboarding
